6.5" all around. I recommend Focal over anything, then Diamond Audio with silk dome tweeters, then Infinity Kappa or MB Quart.

The Bose system has six speakers. The Bose Twiddlers, two 3.5" in the door and two 6.5" (coupe) 5.25" (vert, FRC) in the rear, are powered by the head unit internal 4 ch power amp. Bose Twiddlers are mid/high-frequency speakers. There are no true tweeters in the C5 Bose system.

The two 8" reverse cone Bose sub-woofer speakers in the doors have two sub-woofer power amps near them in the door. These two amps are the only external power amps in the C5 Bose system.

Most GM vehicle do not use true 6.5" speakers. They are really 6.75". Be sure to take the speakers with you to get a substitute.

The Bose twiddlers are fed only frequencies above 1khz. Unless you replace the BSP and HU poweramp, speakers with good bass are a waste of money.
