Aux Input for MP3

I have a 1997 with the Factory CD head unit no changer. Is there anyway to add a line in? I am looking for something that would allow me to go direct from a MP3 player's line out (headphone jack) to the factory head unit. I have a FM modulator and the sound sucks

.... Any suggestions?
