Default Anyone selling any eD stuff? (specifically nine.4 and 6000 speakers)

My friend wants to buy immediately, but they are backordered on the Nine.4 and are just about to release the new 6000 component speakers, but not until Jan. If anyone is selling those, please let me know.

check out there forum at icixsound.com im pretty sure someone there is tryin to sell a nine 4 currently. Call them for ETA on nine4 it may be right around the corner. You will be hard pressed to fine EDI6000s if you want something similar check out the CDT CL-61a at woofersetc for 120 i believe its a similar speaker

Watch eBay, Main Street Audio is a Authorized CDT dealer and I just got a set of CDT EF-61s for $99, they are B stock, but fully functional, brand new with warranty

How does that CDT compare to the eD 6500? That was the set I was going to get for my car.

When I heard the CDT CL-61A and the eDi 6500 in Duramax Dave's truck they were VERY Comparable. I bought a set of EF-61 which are the next step up from the eDs..

The 6500 rapes the CL series. Big key when you get into these nicer components is deadening your doors and doing it well

Depends on the install too, I could not hear a difference in Dave's truck

How would you suggest doing that without adding TOO much weight to the car?

Yes...I have not deadened the doors of the truck yet. I am thinking I will do it in the spring. Also, current plan is to take out the eDi6500's from the rear doors and put them in the Chevelle. That way I should be able to listen to each (CDT or eD) a bit more evenly.

But like Jeff mentioned...the way speakers are mounted and even the vehicle used can change the sound dynamics. If I were really motivated, I would put the eD's in the front of my truck and listen for several months.

But I'm not that motivated... I'm trying to stay motivated with my bathroom remodels. And that's enough for now...
