Power Attachment Question

I’m installing new amps in my DSOM 2005 C6 Coupe. Is it acceptable to attach the power and ground to the starter and engine ground instead of directly to the battery. Thanks for the input

Your best point of connection will be at the battery. The ground can be anywhere on the chasis and does not have to go back to the battery or the engine block.
