I was under the assumption that unless its bought and INSTALLED by a JL authorized dealer, it was void? I'm doing the install, so there goes that warr. I just didn't know if either one was more creditable than the other. One is on ebay, and the other is not.

JL Audio does not have any authorized internet dealers.

Might as well buy my 12W7...

Bad timing Vince. I'd then have to buy a 1000.1, which used is around 500 or so, and an amp for my mid/high's. I'd love to do a 12.7, but Dave is in the process of designing me a box for a 10w7. Thanks though.

No problem Jimmy. Just in case anyone else is reading, the JL12W7 can handle the 1000 watts, but does not really need it. It will play fine (actually great) with just 500 watts.

Maybe next time
