Default C4 rear OEM enclosures.. (and a small update)

are NOT completely sealed.

I spent some time on Saturday and Sunday Sealing them up. I am waiting for a couple things to show up and the time to work on it again. hopefully this will resolve some of my issues..

Then I need to decide which way to use the Amps.. I think the 2x will be a better fit for the 9kv.2s but will try both again.. the 9.2 and 9.2x for the rear..

I still need to decide how I am laying out the amps

getting closer...

I mounted the woofer again.. sems like the gasket material I used it leaking on one side of the baffle.. I will try to seal it later this week..

when I push lightly on the woofer, you can here the air rush out of one side of the baffle

at least it is progress

The hardest spot to see, work on sealling is not sealed.. I am about to give up.. most of the spots are sealed except the 2 hardest spots.. not sure how I will get to them to try and seal them..

I was really hoping to put the 8s in the factory spots.. this really bites..

Just a thought bro....Can you just make fiberglass enclosures for back there?????? Just pull out all the factory stuff and make pods..There may be less drama....Just a thought...
Keep up the good work...

I could I guess, but i would have way too little enclosure size..

Kale,

I tried exanding foam on one side, I guess I could give it another shot though. it is in the back upper corners of the inside of the box.. almost impossible to get to.

I thought about it a little last night.. I think I can get to the top side of the area I need to seal. I have a feeling that gravity being against me since I was working on the bottom side is causing some issues. I will try again and see how it goes
