Location: Holy crap GM! How many versions of the C6 do you think we need?
quick question on AEOM-VET1
Finally got one of these and want to do some audio this winter. Do I have to disconnect the car battery before attaching the VET-1?

no, but power to the radio will get disconected in the process of hooking it up, if you are worried about the radio getting locked or somethin

...hadn't thought of that, just concerned about shorting something, plus it's a pain to reset all vehicle options.

its really strange. sometimes features reset when you disconnect the battery and sometimes they keep their memory. this may or may not include the HU. but for some reason i remember it holding its memory minus the time.
