Default amp rack help

So i built the facade to my amp rack and it looks nice. I used hardboard because it has a little 'flex' in and it allows me to bend it slight to shoe horn it in and it also save a ton of weight compared to mdf.

i have also built a wooden frame below the facade for structural support but this has to go in before the facade. So my question is...how to i secure the facade so it doesn't make any noise while i'm driving? i dont want the top to slap against the wooden frame. Do i just use some felt on the top of the frame and call it a day? or is there a better way?

What about velcro in a few spots? this way it will get help in place as well

Scott....making hiden fastners is one of the great arts to building custom amp racks and such. There is nothing better then not seeing any fastners.

Velcro is a good idea, magnets is another, pressure fitting works well, and using a decrative piece to hide a screw is always possible. If it is not possible to hide the fastner you could make something to cover the fastner. I do that often and I like to make my mounting points below a piece of equipment.

Thanks Jeff and Randy. I had thought about magnets but not about velcro. Glad that they both can be used effectively though. Now i just have to decide. thanks guys.
