JL Audio SB-GM-C6CONV-8W3v3 StealthBox Question
Has anyone used this JL Audio Stealthbox in their 2005+ Convertible? It has two 8" 10w3 subs. I was wondering how it sounded? I have had all different JL Audio subs in the past with great results but never 8" subs. I've always used 10's, 12's or their 13.5". I was wondering how the stealthbox sounded and what kind of power you had running it? I am debating on building fiberglass sub boxes in the rear corners of my trunk and using JL Audio 10W6's or buying a Stealthbox. Anyone used them before, please post here! Much appreciated!!

Yeah, I have the factory Bose system but I hate it. I am used to high end car audio. I just don't want to buy something and then be disappointed with it only to sell it.

Former Vendor
my two cents
having installed many many options for customers I myself like these subs in a vert and my favorite way to go with a customer install. I had 2 10's in the trunk of my GS vert and these were much better for my taste.

PM me or call me for price.

Stealth Box
Yes, I have used them. I used ARC Mini amp 300 or 500 watts. I can't remember the power number on the amp. However, for the first time I was able to drive down the highway at 70 mph with the top down and finally hear my music! Needless to say I had the whole system highly modified. I had the entire car interior removed and used RAAM mat from front to rear. What a difference. I used the original Image Dynamics 8" subs in place of the original JLs.
The boxes did the trick.

Ive got a JL audio stealthbox and honestly cant say one bad thing about it. Ive got it powered with a JL audio amp as well and man the things just sounds flawless. Highly would recommend JL audio for and audio upgrade.
