Were the JL subs purchased from an authorized JL dealer? In other words, do they carry a genuine warranty?
Also, how did you like the 9500 to the W7?

They were purchased from an authorized dealer that is no longer in business. I believe that JL equipment needs to be installed by an authorized dealer for them to warranty it, so as far as being genuine equipment, they are, but I cannot say anything about warranty.

W7 in the right box with enough power will outperform the 9500 ... imo

Bought the JL Audio 450/4 from Vince and received it today. It is in MINT condition and packed with a billion peanuts. Came in the original box with the manual - awesome!!
