Default HELP! Door Speaker Replacement

Ok, I need some help. I have decided to replace the old non working bose system and started working on this last night. Does anyone know of or have detailed instructions on taking out the front bose boxes. I have the skin taken off and everything is exposed but I just can't figure out how the inner metal framing (that the linkage is attached to) is supposed to move to make enough room for the box to slide out?? I'm hoping somebody out there can help me.
Sorry, this is for my 84 coupe. Thanks!

I checked the FAQ's page and did a scan of threads also. I'm just itching to listen to some tunes while cruising. I'm just hoping that someone has some tip on how to get this piece out and I think I should be good. I have an adapter to mount 6.5's and am ready to run new wire. Speaking of, has anybody ever tried the speaker adapters offered on Ebay??

Now if someone could suggest a method for modifying the door frame to make way for 6.5's??

Rear speakers are rewired and the new speakers should be arriving today via ups.
