Default How do you get the cross brackets out of the radio bracket?

Is there a way to cut them or pull the out easily? I need more depth for the Eclipse I am installing and I want to lower the AC controls some. Thanks!

I used a dremel. It was a painful, scary experience -- I was terrified I was going to slip and cut through wires or something. But I think that a dremel is the best tool to use... I don't think there's enough room in there for a hacksaw. Good luck!
