Which sub would you go with for the subthump box??
I have a subtump box with some alpine sub that i got from a friend for cheap. Right now I have 4x75w apline amp powering CDT components in the doors and brigded to the amp. I was thinking of getting a better sub. I want something to hit low and was looking at these two.
Not a lot of stuff will fit the subthump box but i knida like these two.

I know my amp is not gonna make the best power for these (150W), but i can always add a mono amp to power the sub and run rear speakers on the remaing channels on my 4-ch amp.
anyone else got any good suggestions for an amp that hits the low frequencies and would fit in the subthump box???? i belive the clearance is 7"

I'm looking at JL Audio 10's for possible subthump use.
Their 10's hit like 12' easy. Biggest hurdle is, as you said, finding something with the low dept and which works in such a tight space, subthump stealth is about .8 cubicz or something...not alot to work with =\

my jl 10w6 sounds awesome in a box thats probably a little smaller than the subthump stealth.
jl 250/1 powering it and the back of my car flexes like a ***** on the hard bass hits.

3 year warranty, worth a look against the products mentioned, also look at the price.

I just ordered a Pioneer TS-W3002. SPL records are hard to argue with, but not many top of the line subs will perform well with 150 watts. Go to Pioneers website and check them out. They also have competition level mono amps.

I have to agree alot of people here to JL, but I am starting to see more and more people venturing out of the JL circle with great success :-), showing you can spend 1/2 the money and be just as happy
