Default Need Help - New System - Can't Hear Radio

Ok. Got the new system installed. Alpine IVA-D310 h/u; MRA-D550 5.1 channel amp and PDX 1.1000 amp. When I put DVDs or CDs in the h/u, I can hear them great, but I can't hear the radio. If I turn it all the way up, I can barely hear it. At least I know it's getting a signal. Anybody have any thoughts as to what the problem is?

Thanks

that is odd.

check the alpine instructions, but they have some external EQ settings on the head.

I can't imagine, tho, that a source change would cause this. I assume the antenna is connected?

Also, there are some (on my 7998) settings for the tuner, as to how it sounds and stuff.

Antenna is connected fine. Right now the monitor is what's connected to the Amp. I'm wondering if the separate tuner box also needs to be connected to the amp.

uh, there is a separate tuner box?

It appears that the tuner module has to be attached to the head unit, via a data cable.

I would confirm the wiring...

I agree, I have a seperate box for mine and I have 2 data cables. I did have a problem with the video side but it was a grounding problem and now I am OK
