im replacing my receiver and i cannot get any power to the headunit.. when i take the face plate off the lil red secuirty light blinks but the faceplate wont turn on when i put it in place.. (the question i need to know is) does anyone know for *sure* what the big 8 gauge wire that comes out of the bottom right of the stock receiver is, im assuming its the antenea wire, but curious if its a ground..? thanks
Your unit is not powering up because there is no switched accesory lead back there u need to pick up power for the switched lead from the fuse box. Check the C5 FAQ for more info
