Default JL Stealthbox fit.

Picked up my car today after having the deck changed, and a JL 250x1 and Stealth put in. It sounds great. I did notice that the stealth doesn't sit very deep in the well though. In fact it is raised just a bit higher than the rest of the decking. When the cover is on, it is really noticeable. Is this right?

No, that does not sound right. Some more carpet in the well may need to be trimmed some more. I had to cut the back portion of carpet up to about 2 inches from the top of the well. Sounds like some more carpet needs to be trimmed somewhere, rather it be in the front, on the sides, or in the back of the well. It is a very tight fit, and for a box to be so expensive, it looks like you wouldn't have to trim carpet out of a $50k + automobile.
