Default Depth of the 10" subwoofer hole in the C6?

What's the depth of the 10" subwoofer hole in the C6? Is there additional room to build a baffle and increase the possible mounting depth?

I'm trying to see if if a woofer with a mounting depth of 90mm (3.54") would fit in there with a mounting bracket.

I'd like to know which woofer (if it works), and what will you use for a tweeter and midrange.

I am considering using a pair of DAYTON RS225-4 8" REFERENCE SERIES WOOFER 4 OHM, and they will be run in a 2-way active setup. I'm not sure about tweeters yet since I have to find one that crosses low enough to overlap the woofers (i don't plan on using a midrange.)

That would be great, please let me know. If you can find out the maximum depth I can use (including a mounting plate/baffle) and not interfere with the panels/mechanisms then that would be even better! Thanks.

I'm thinking about putting in 6x9" 3 way Kappas where the Bose subs were, and 5.25" Kappas in the rear, and hopefully getting by w/o a sub. If needed a powered sub could be added later, but there is no great stealth spots.

It's about 3.5" as I recall from this Post #5 here:

Sorry Its not listed on our database yet I thought it was

Firsttimer I would recommend again 6X9s in the front a 6.5 component will be much cleaner and ditch the rear speakers

I was looking for a showlow mount sub as well (Blaupunt & Pioneer both have them), but decided to go another route.

I ordered a Pioneer GM6100F amp to replace the stocker (following shopdog's lead on that), will replace the door speakers with Kappa 6 X 9's 2 ways down low and 3-1/2's in the upper spot, 5-1/4's in the rear (rewired for stereo), disconect the center speaker and add an Infinity BassLink into the rear compartment which is a self powered sub (and it can be removed if I need the room).

Not sure how it will sound, but it'll be better than stock and I'm told it should actually be very good?
