C6 No System Sound

At times when I start my car I have no audio. Radio seems to be working (All LED functions work) but there is no audio. I also get no warning chimes of any kind. This has been going on for about a year and has been to the dealer many times. Also, at times when this occurs, I will get a buzz coming from the speakers and the radio may work or not with no audio but the buzz. I know this issue has been addressed on this forum but no one has every come up with a good fix. I know there is a service bulletin out on various radio problems and my radio has been replaced and the amps for the speakers have also been replaced.

This problem used to happen very intermittently but now it is happening daily and at times I have to shutdown and restart the car more than once in order to get the audio to work. I wish it would just break and set a code in the computer that could be retrieved. I am taking the car back to the dealer on Monday to see if maybe something can be resolved. Anyone have this happen and come up with a good fix?? I'm thinking about asking to dealer to replace the radio again because everything I've read seens to point to the radio as the problem.

Could it be that I might have gotten a bad replacement???

it sounds like a power source problem. if it is happening with that much regularity, I would take it back to the dealer.

or say **** it and get aftermarket. Bose Blose anyway.

If all else has been replaced, it virtually HAS to be an open ground or hot.
I've seen factory wire harnesses that got pinched because of how they were installed. Again, its the dealers problem to get it corrected.
