Default Adding an amp to a stock C5 sound sytem - Bose

Hi.

I am going ot be adding an amp to my stock Bose setup to run a sub. Do I absolutely need the converter (pac Audio) or can I run low level inputs into the amp from the stock rear speakers?

Thanks for any help!
Greg

I tried something similar, e.g. the line level inputs off rear speaker wires in my 02' trailblazer, had nothing but problems. Signal would cut out, volume would fluctuate non stop...

would reccomend against it. spend the 40 bucks and save the time and aggravation.

my .02

The line level converters do not sound good and fade all the time.

you'll be glad you did, if you got it from the place i sent you that link to, you'll have it shipped fast. When i ordered everything, the adapter was the last thing i ordered and it ended up being the first thing i recieved. Also, its just a plug in and you dont have to screw around with the wiring. You just have to splice one wire for the remote turn on and thats it.
