Default You guys with an AVIC-D1

Here is a questions for you.............

When your in Navigation mode can you still listen to music? Or is it one or the other?

yup you can listen to music or another audio source (aux input)

Cool thanks Scott, just debating if I want to go the double din route or the portable route for GPS. Figured if you couldnt listen to music while you had nav going it didnt make sense.

it just mutes the music while giving the audible directions, i think you can also have it just speak over the music but i havent really played around with it seeing how it's in my girlfriends suv.

Sure, you can do both at the same time. You can have the voice directions speak right over the music, have the music mute, or turn the voice prompts off entirely. It's very easy to switch back and forth between the map and the audio controls.
