Default Will these speakers fit without modification?

i want to buy the Infinity Kappa 32.7cf 3 1/2" speakers for the fronts and Boston Acoustics S65 6 3/4" in the rear. I have an FRC C5. Crutchfield says the boston's will fit. I really want to go with another brand, but I don't know what will fit without modification of the speaker mounts! Someone please help!

I have Infinity Kappa 3 1/2's in the front and 5 1/4's in the rear. Both fit without any issues. (I also have an FRC) The Crutchfield website stated that they would not fit but I had not issues whatsoever.

FRC's and vert's have 5.25" rear speakers. Coupes have 6.5" speakers in the rear. The 3.5's should fit without issue, if you want 6.5" speakers in the rear you will have to do some modification (IE fab up a mount to make them fit) and you will have to measure for depth of the area that you have to work with.

Vrumvrum (mike stanzel) makes front speaker mounts for our cars that work quite well. He can make them for almost any combination that will fit in the hole from the factory. I am running a 7" midbass and a 3" mid (that has a 4" cutout) and it fits well. Going to make a small baffle for some imaging improvement.

I used to think the same thing, but I later found out thats not accurate.

The Verts do have a smaller grill in the rear, but still can fit 6.5"s
I did an install on my buddys 50th AE Vert and the 6.5's dropped right in.

Hmm so the cars in the FRC/vert body come with 5.25" speakers but a 6.5 will drop in? Nice thanks for the info simple.
