I have the tv tuner with my AVIC-N1 setup. It sure isn't cable but it does work. The first time we turned on the system inside the shop, The Price Is Right was on air. We all started busting a gut! We thought we would have to be outside to get a good signal. This was in Chatsworth, CA. While on trips to Utah thru Vegas I would check to see if the local news would be on. Just remember, you are a moving antenna and tv likes to be in one place.

Does that setup require an additional antenna, or does it tap into the radio antenna? And can you guess the price of this package without going over? (sorry, had to throw in a little TPIR humor)

It comes with 2. We ran 1 down on each side (above and behind) the rear speakers. I don't remember the price.
