Can you use an alpine changer with the bose

Is it possible to add any brand cd changer to the bose or do you have use a certain brand? My car was not factory equiped so I would have to purchase the harness anyway.

I don't think that you can use a non-factory changer. check the sticky... there's some info about changers in there.

If you want the head unit to control it you're stuck with the OEM changer or a Kenwood if you can find a GM10/PC-KNW (which apparently isn't made any more). FYI, if you can also find a KDC-CX89 changer it plays MP3's
