I have successfully removed Bose System.

Hello All,

I have removed the entire bose factory system from my 98 vert.

I put in a Pioneer HU and a Pioneer XM receiver and Pioneer 12 Disc CD changer. I also replaced the door speaker and the rear speakers with Alpline speakers.

I also have a bazooka sub mounted behind the waterfall.

I also installed a switch to raise and lower the power antenna.

I have distribution blocks in the trunk for 12v constant and ground.. going straight to the battery.

Most of the things I was afriad to do, wasn't that bad.

I got most of my information on doing this install from this and other forums.

congrads! why did you put a switch to raise and lower the antenna? the headunits do that automatically. don't they?

Yes... they do.

FM radio is my last resort for music. XM radio is the first, then CDs or MP3s.... don't need to raise the antenna for any of those.
