Default Avic D1 install planned... any advice, tips, hints?

Hi all -

I've got a D1 on order and the forum has given me lots of great ideas and instructions. I've been following other's posts on the D1 and you guys did just an amazing job. Any advice for someone starting from scratch?

And if you'd replace the Bose front speakers, what models would you recommend for good, all-around listening (classic rock, soft rock, and some hip-hop)? Or should I just get the adapter and keep the bose?

check out the jl audio 3 way components and make sure you get a nice clean amp to run it. the jl amps are suposed to be pretty good but i've had personal experience with phoenix gold ti series and xtant amps and i recommend both of them!
