I have the new Nav Man. Works great for me. Nothing to load. Starts up quick and is easy to use. I mount it low and in the middle of the windshield so that the bottom of the unit is sitting on the dash.

Default take a look at the Garmin c330,

just bought one for my daughter. I considered the Tom Tom, but the screen on the Garmin was much easier to read. The Garmin c330 comes fully loaded with all US maps, has voice guidance and is a nice size for easy portability & easy reading.

Check out Circuit City and see Tom Tom side by side with Gamin. You will probably choose the Garmin for sure.

The Lowrance 500 blows them away. The 5" screen is sharp and readable in all kinds of sunlight. Has 10GB for MP3's and can be hardwired.. This unit is wonderful!

I've had a Garmin C330 for almost 6 months and it's great! I have suggested it to others many times on the forum before. As a bonus, the price is also coming down on the Garmin!

I bought the Garmin c330 the day I picked my C6 up. Works great and the black with silver trim is a perfect match for the 2006 C6 dash trim. Just got back from a trip from Tennessee to South Carolina and it did a good job.

I use a TomTom 300 and I like it a lot. I find the maps and the interface to be much easier to use than the garmin. I tried a c320 for a while but I would not recommend it because it only has partial maps. The TomTom has all the US teleatlas maps.

The phone is only used for extra features like weather and traffic updates or if you go for the 700, it has hands free calling via bluetooth which is really awesome.
