Default Is it possible?

Greetings....I have just purchased a 2000 Convertible, and I was curious if it was possible to swap factory head units, to one that has XM pre-installed. Did the C5 ever get that?? It had to, right? Well, the questions is, can you swap the head units? I have the factory CD Changer and obviously want to continue using it. Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched through a few pages and didn't see anything. THANKS!!

I don't believe the C5 ever had factory XM. You'll have to go with some type of aftermarket solution.

Thanks all....I wasn't sure if it had it or not. I currently have the roady2 in the car, and it works great, just would have liked to have it in the head unit itself. Thanks again!!

Go with an XM Commander. You can mount the controls where the ashtray is. It is smaller than the Roady. There is a post in the C5 Audio FAQ section on a write up I did a while ago.
