Default My Amps Are Back from Paint (pic.)

Have you ever seen millennium yellow Precision Power P. C. Series Amp's before???? With all the factory art work???? What a pain in the butt.... I know the Pic. are not the best,( my kid is not home to run the camera) but let my tell you these things are crisp and they friking glow baby. The amp's come out of the factory silkscreen and you can't get the detail with a sticker, so we take the art work and put it in the computer and inkjet ed it on to clear vinyl, cut them out buy hand, laid them out after paint and put 8 coats of clear on them.

This makes the WIZ a happy man.....

do these amps have built in fans or cooling? I wanted to do the same to my old amp, but was told not to coat it due to heat escape routes.

Chillcat,
In a word yes. Both the 4800 & the 21400 have cooling fans. I have had amps like these painted before with out any trouble's.

Sweet looking paint on the PPI's.
I'm assuming those are old school? Before sell out.

Way to go on a great system!
I just installed Diamond 6.5" comps with coax in rear. They were powered by JL 4/300 and sounded terrific.

Those PPI's are killer.
I still have an older PCX 4125 laying around. Gotta find a use for that somewhere.

Very Cool!

What kind of printer do you use and where do you get the vinyl? I have a couple applications where I could use that trick for sure!

Very sweet! I'm also interested to hear how you did the vinyl transfer.

Thanks for the Props. guy's. It was a pain in the butt
To anwser your guy's question about getting this type of work done you have to use a graphic printer that will heat the ink and cure it to the vinyl before you start laying clear. Ask me how I found this out..... Lets just say I have seen a lot of ink run through trial and error while trying to get this right. Even then the first few coats of clear should be applied very lightly.
The guy that helped me through this was Ralph at Pit Stop Graphics & Signs feel free to give him a call (586)795-0350 he can do your art and print for you if you need...

Love the installation kit or cover for it. Can you give me info on where to get one that says CORVETTE like yours does?
