C5 Sub-Encolsure & Amp???

Hello all, I'm just curious about those C5 Sub-Woofer enclosures that fit in the C5's cargo area. I'm curious if an amplifier can also be installed in the same enclosure. I'm guessing the amp probably gets too hot, and that's why I haven't heard of anybody doing this.
Any advice will be appreciated.

I have an enclosure in the rear center storage area of my coupe. I bought it from another Forum member who sold his car. I don't know if an amp would fit in there or not but it would get hot. My amp is mounted vertically on the rear wall/opposite the license plate.

I was told that the subwoofer vibration would NOT be good for the amp.
