Default sub box

does anybody have a subwoofer mounted in the compartment with the factory 12disc changer?

Sounds like it would cause excess skipping to me (besides other obvious reasons). Not a real good plan, IMO!

Most just move the factory changer to one of the side compartments. This way you would still have adequate air space for a sub in the middle compartment. I think having the changer and the sub box in the center compartment wouldn't be that great of an idea, due to skipping ( which has already been stated ) and the lack of adequate air space for the sub, because the box would have to be built smaller to allow room for the CD changer. It probably can and has been done, but I wouldn't recommend it.
