Default Question on updating software for Avic-N1 to Avic-N2

I can purchase an upgrade disc to give my Avic-N1 unit the same functions as an Avic-N2. If I do this, will the software also give me the Avic-N2 motion sensor to where I can't watch DVD's in motion by just grounding the emergency brake wire? (my passenger's like that feature)

From what I have read on other forums, the answer is yes. The software upgrade will make your AVIC-N1 function EXACTLY like an AVIC-N2. Also, once you've made the upgrade, it is extremely difficult to undo. Apparently the software checks the version number and will not load a previous version.
