Default Xm Radio With Stock Head Unit?

I am thinking about xm radio but do not want to use an fm modulator due to poor quality sound. Does anyone know if the XM can be hard wired to the head unit using the aux input? Car is an 04 Coupe. Thanks for any input.

if you have a CD changer you can use a GM10-aux interface, the down sise is you loose the CD changer.
if you don't have a changer then you're home free. all you need is a changer harness and a GM10-aux.

Default xm

i had xm in the vette, then moved it to the lincoln.it can be heard thru the radio, without use of a cassette,by the people hooking it up placing something behind the stock radio.I'm not a radio install guy,so i'm not sure, but maybe that modulator thing.Funny though,i need the cassette in my 02 lincoln because i got big time interference with the stock radio.

I am debating between XM radio or an iPOD. I am just not sure which will give better sound.

Default sound

the sound will depend on how good your in car system is!my new 02 lincoln sounds like a concert hall w/the xm,while the 95 just sounded ok,in the vette it's nothing special because the bose system is nothing special, but it all works good enough for me!
