RCA subwoofer preouts - mono or stereo?

I have an external 2 channel amp powering a dual voice coil subwoofer so I want to make sure the coils are receiving the same audio signal. I have an AVIC N2 and would like to confirm whether or not the rca subwoofer preouts are mono outputs, in other words...is the "red" colored preout sending the same signal as the "white" colored preout?

I don't know the specifics of the N2, but normally you can decide if you want stereo sub pre-out or mono sub pre outs. You definatly want to make sure they are mono if you are running a single DVC sub.
