i have a JL E6450 amp that is 45x6 @ 4 ohm and 75 x6 at 2 ohm and a alpine 9820xm deck. i think the door speakers that are in the civic are polk seperates in the front 5 1/4 and polk 5 1/4 2 ways and a jl 10 inch power wedge.
the amp is a little weak for the civic, but in a vette being smaller, do you think it might kick a little more? i can bridge all 6 channels and have a 3 channel amp and have 2 going to the front speakers and 1 going to the sub.
i might pick up a nicer set of front speakers.
any thoughts on the whole setup? suggestions, tips....
go with the 3 chan config. the vette is smaller inside but it is also louder. 75 watts is the bare minimum i'll put in my car (it's what i'm running right now and with the top down it gets loud!

my amp is a high current 3 chan amp (rec fuse is 100 amp) and i know knewblue had a hefty system on the stock alt. with no probs. you should be fine with the 2 amps, just make sure to use thick enough wire or you'll notice your headlights dimming when the bass hits
