Default how to adhere carpet to speaker box?

what is the best way to glue down carpeting to wood sub box? I have some liquid nails, would that do the trick? is there something better?

I use the 3M spray adhesive, works awesome. Just be sure to spray the wood, not the carpet. Also get it on the way you want it, because once the carpet hits the glue, it sticks right away.

Actually Jay (unless something has changed with 3M products) you should spray both the wood and the material. Check the can for details. I have not used it in a long time. I spray glue from a paint gun

Damn you Randy , that's twice this week you had me second guessing myself.
Keep it up
According to the can, 3M General Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive, it states to spray the surface.
But...down below it says for a stronger bond to spray both surfaces.
It also states with one surface the tack range is 10 seconds while the two surface way is 15 seconds. I just never sprayed it on the carpet since I thought it might bleed through to the good side of the carpet The stuff sure sticks though
