1990 Stereo Kit

ok well heres the story: I have purchased a stereo and 2 pairs of speakers for my 1990 L98 corvette with the cassette bose system in it. Talked to two guys and they said they couldnt find any of the old stereo kits. The second guy said that a 1997 camaro kit would fit... Has anyone seen or tried this? plz get back to me soon, i might have him do it monday. Ty!
