Noise in speaker

I have a little noise coming from my right rear speaker. Its all the original Bose equipment. I've read some stuff about alternator whine and I've also heard that the amps on the speakers cause this problem when they go out. Any simple way I can determine what the problem is? It makes the same noise using the radio and the CD player.

The darn C4 stereo problems I think you are on the right track. Read the C4 stickey and contact forum member "Bogus"
He has allot of experience with the C4's stereo. Good luck

i had the very same problem with my 84, and its gone now that i've installed my alpine, and re-did the speaker wiring
