Template for Components in doors???

I need a template of a plate for installing components in my doors. BTW: MB Quart Reference 6.5 components. Where to mount the crossover???

There is plenty of room inside the bottom of the door for the crossover if you don't mind using double sided tape.

I don't know about a template, but you can contact forum member VrumVrum to get mounting brackets that are already cut.

You can use the factory speaker mount as a template and I would not mount the crossover in the door unless you mount it between the door panel and the inner skin. It is very easy to run wires into the door it would be best to mount the xover somewhere else.
