Default Here's my audio plan for my C6 - what do you think?

I thought I could live with the sound system, but I can't. I'm too used to great sound so I need to do something with the C6. I have Nav, so I will keep the head unit.

I am planning to do the following:
- Focal Utopia 165 components in the door. The midrange in the lower part of the door and the tweeter in the upper.
- Either JL Audio or Focal 6" subs in the back utility compartments. Should look stock.
- JL Audio 500/5 amp to run them with a custom cover to match the deck of the car.
- Leave the current 5.25" behind the seats to use as ambient if I want it.

What do you think? Will this work? Any idea how the speaker controls on the touchscreen will work?

Thanks for your advice!

Sounds good. I went to see mine tonight being installed and I was very happy.

if you can interface with nav system already then it sounds like a good plan.

Just slap in this AUDIOCONTROL LC6, bypass the Blose amp and hook up all of your aftermarket amps and speakers.
As for C6 enclosures, THIS GUY is currently working on a custom C6 fiberglass enclosure and amp rack. I suggest PMing him to let him know your interest in the product. He needs all the encouragement we can give him.

Aside from that I would suggest not using the rear 5.25" at all. You shouldn't need them with the setup you listed.

Good luck.
