Default 8 ohm speakers + 4 ohm deck?

Is there any consequence in using 8ohm speakers with my 4 ohm CD Deck? Is there something I should do when using these speakers?

Thanks

nope, you'll be perfectly fine. The only drawback is you'll be getting approx half the wattage out of the HU compared to 4 ohm speakers hooked-up to the HU. Still, depending on the efficency of the speakers, you might not hear a difference. A bonus, your HU will not be running as hard.

Buy 2 pair and wire each side in parallel. The more air you move = more bass.
