When adding an Amp and Sub to the stock head unit (without cutting wires and allowing for simple plug and play) it seems there are these two products out there. Whats the diffrence? Which is better?

The first one allows the interface of an aftermarket heat unit to the factory speakers and such.

the 2nd one allows for what you want - the addition of an amp for a sub.

So the first one won't allow you to use the factory head unit to add an amp and sub? Cause the guy's over at subthump.com seem to say the first one will work for what I want.

Not second guessing anyone... I just want to be sure I get the right thing!
