Default Vendor recommendations Bose CD HU for an 88?

I have an 88 with the Bose radio/tape system. I want to upgrade to the 94-96 Camaro HU with CD player. There are a couple of sites that sell these units and the price differs quite a bit.

http://www.doctordons.com $500

http://www.mnrelectronics.com
Part # 16192371 Delco Bose AM/FM CD $399.95

http://wwwl.corvetteradios.com
Part# 16205302 $399.50 Total (plug Assy& CD Radio)

I'd assume that Corvetteradios would know their stuff with respect to upgrading the 84-89 Bose. Dr. Dons has been mentioned by several Forum members as excellent, but are they worth the $100 difference for the same unit with the same warranty? Has anyone used either of the other two with success? Any good/bad feedback greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't pay that much for one of those radios. There's a couple people on the forum, Caboby comes to mind, who have the upgraded headunit with CD for an early C4. Ask one of them to get a part# off the back. I'm almost positive that you just need the unit out of a NON-bose '96 or later blazer.(but don't quote me on that, lol. They just look really similar in the pictures I've seen)
