New Gallery and photo uploader tool

Some of your have noticed, Iím sure, that we have a new photo Gallery at Corvetteforum, accompanied by a tool that lets you upload pictures directly into a thread while putting them in your gallery.

Thatís significant because it not only makes the process easier, but it also means pictures will not disappear from threads where they were posted unless you remove them. That will be particularly helpful in the case of illustrations posted with how-to threads.

Hereís a how-to prepared by J T on using the gallery and photo upload tool:

I tested the uploader and gallery last week and was very pleased with the results. The pictures I uploaded reproduced much better than any I had ever posted to Corvetteforum:

The reason for the improved reproduction is that the software has been set to allow users to upload larger files than before. Your file now can be as large as 5 MB. My initial understanding was that there would be no limit on the number of photos site users could upload into their gallery. I now know that there will be a limit of 100 pictures unless you are a supporting member, in which case you will have a limit of 500 pictures.

If you have any questions, just let us know in the Help section.
