Cheapest way to get 400 hp n/a on a c5?
I'm looking for some suggestions (those of you who have allready done it, please help me out!) on the cheapest/most effective way to get @ 400 n/a flywheel hp out of my 00 c5 coupe.....so far I've thought of cat-back exaust and some sort of intake system....please give me any suggestions you have, price is an issue, so I'm not looking for any twin turbo setups here :)

If that link does not work, go to our web site and see Performance Packages, then 99-00 Stage III Performance Package. http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/sub...y.cfm?subid=27

I spent $2300 on performance mods (includes labor for installs so if you can do it yourself you will save some $$ here) and am putting down right at 350rwhp. Which calculates to a little over 400hp at the flywheel.
Mods are: Vortex rammer w/powerduct, x-pipe, B&B Rt. 66 exhaust, LGM G5 cam kit, and pcm tuning.

Well consider this.....HP is not the only thing needed for thrust! Since it's thrust we are really looking for...I'd say a rear swap to 4.10 ought to get you way past what the equielent 400hp would give you. Assuming Flywheel hp :smash:

I would suggest
1. CAM -- 350-450
2. Vortech rammer- 225.00
3. Vortech pwr duct- 249.00
that might get you there if not
3. TPIS LT headers 900.00
4. LS1edit 550.00 - 700.00
