How do I set the Clock time, and change radio stations....?
On my 92.
Whats the procedure for setting the clock time.
Whats the procedure for programing stations for the (1,2,3,4,5,6) slots?
What does Cr02 mean?
What is SVC?
I haven't got my manual yet, so I would like to know what these things do.

To set the clock, turn the radio off and press the SET button, then use the up and down tuner hours to adjust the time.
For radio stations, turn the radio on, go to the station you want, press SET and hit one of the 1 thru 6 buttons.
Cr02 is used for certain type of tapes...
Not sure what SVC is.. I think it means your picking up a good signal.

I think SVC is the thing that increases music volume with speed.
If I turn it to "L" or "off" It won't increase volume as much..
Anyone know anything about this?

CR02 = Chrome cassette tape. If a cassette tape has CR02 on it then use this setting.
SCV = Speed control volume. Set the volume when you are at speed, and it will automatically change the volume when you slow down (stopping at a light).
Push button and it will change in succession "Off, High, Medium, Low".

SVC controls the volume as you increase and decrease speed (makes it louder the faster you go and quieter the slower you go) On a 96, there is an adjustment ring ont he volume **** that allows you to select "H" (for High), "L" (for Low) and Off. The High setting gets louder, quicker than the low setting. I don't know if other years control this feature differently.

The SVC works the same on the 92 as your 96. It is good for the convertable. Set it to high for top down, low for open windows, and off for closed up. It is actually the only feature I miss from the bose system. The CrO2 was the Cromium tapes from the early to mid 80s. Pretty much died out about 15 years ago. Most later decks automatically engaged the type of tape with the correct noise reduction and tape type.
