E-town Results
Well as far as my car goes, with my new PCM(my only mod so far) I went my best yet, 14.55. I slowed down as the day went on and then ran a 14.69 and went home. I raced this pesky Mercedes, but dumped him off the line, but he was keeping up with me and only lost by a few tenths..... :D
I also ran this loud butt black C5, pulled a hole shot on him and left him standing still, and then I woke up...I felt like I got abused when he ran a 12.4 on that pass.
Note to self," don't race any Corvettes that look fast, do crowd pleasing burn outs, and haul butt......"
It was a great time down there. Good to see you guys again. I should be going back on Wednesday nights and Fridays, and maybe some weekends.

Steve....good to see you..... That Cherry Impala was running good!!
Mojo is looking for you guys - eating food without inviting him
"Hey Bill, how was it running that 11.3 today"
"I dunno Steve, you think anyone will believe it?"

Steve, your doing fine just but please don't try to go as fast as Impala Joe.
Joe offered me a ride in his Impala back to the staging lanes , I went to get in the car and the front passenger seat was gone.
He said he's just saving weight
I had to ride in the back seat
So I think your car is runs great and it still has two front sets.

Re: E-town Results (JD 90 383)
As you can see in that pic of my car, my engine bay doubles as a food court, I hope Mr. Mojo doesn't read that....
I have seating for a party of 5 in my portable restaurant, Joe has the more private dining area with more leg room.....
There was a very strong headwind(I think it was 55 mph) when I ran that 11.3 second C5....
After reading that thread about that guy who said he'd run 12's his first time out, I wish that I was there to race him in his first pass, I would have won!!!! Now that's funny
It was a great time, didn't get that hotdog bet going, but maybe next time we'll race for pizza or something, make it like a gamblers race but with food instead of money for prizes... :D
My hooptie was running pretty good in the morning and my last run wasn't that bad. I'll get some more practice on Wednesday, hope the weather is good. Need to get some better lights, that ECIRS thing isn't going to be easy, especially with Joe racing in it. Maybe I can find him a nice lazy boy recliner for his car to get in some rest between rounds, now that he has some room....

Re: E-town Results (95CYC4)
I started the day at 14.875@90.59 and ended the day at 13.514@103.25. I guess that's an improvement! Ran on stock run flats and new Corsa Indy's.

Re: E-town Results (REDGAR)
Sounds good to me! All I have to do is continue to shave 1 second+ off every time I come to these. I think I'm gettin' the hang of this! Even had my best R/T at .869. Did 60' in 2.198. (are these numbers good?)

Don't worry Mackey.. :D It's going back in sunday after I clean the carpet :) the seat only weighs 46 lbs. Even without the seat the car weighed 4180 with me in it & almost no gas..
Heck.. I thought you were comfortable back there  :jester

Hey Steve, good meeting you today, thanks for letting me use your engine bay as a counter! :D  14.5 is pretty darn quick for a 4300lb car! :yesnod:
Jay, good meeting you as well. Dropping from a 14.8 to a 13.5 is very impressive, you'll get better every trip to the track. 13.5 is a very respectable time for a stock C5 with just Corsas.
As for me, I had some traction problems, but managed pretty consistant 12.3s once I got the hang of things. MPH was right around 114 all day. Track preperation wasn't the best, so I'm pretty happy with my times. Especially that "11.3"... I'm lucky I didn't get tossed off the track for that one!
