it is a solvent and boosts octane... you can get it at Ace or Home Depot, probably other places. It really does boost octane. Big time. :cheers:
oh yeah at Ace it is under the Toluol name... xylene is jsut about the same thing...

I run 1 1/2 gallons of toluene with 8 1/2 gallons of 93 octane pump gas. You should add only as much as is necessary to prevent detonation. Don't run over 20%. I only use it when I run nitrous because I don't need that much octane without the juice.
It is a primary ingredient in pump gas so don't worry about it harming O2 sensors or cats. Toluene is 114 octane. I get it at a local paint supply house for $5.50 a gallon.
