What is the gear ratio of the performance Axle in a 1994 Corvette?
Hi, I know 2.59's are stock on a 1994 automatic. What would it be with the performance ratio? Thanks

There is a rumour that they were 3:07's ??? Don't hold me to that but it sounds right. Go in under search and look up some old topics, you'll find it there.

So if my RPO list shows GU2 (2.73) and G92 (Performance Rear) - what do I actually have. Is it 2.73 or 3.07 ???

How can I find out what option I had, is it in the VIN somewhere b/c I don't have any of my books or records or anything like that. Or is it stamped on the rear end or something?

Now this has got my slightly confused... I have the G44 with G92... 3.07 performance rear... but if the G44 is 3.07.. what does the performance rear end give you?

Springer,
Try to get ahold of Scorp on this, he can usually be found in the NE section. I bet he know's the answer on this gear ratio situation.

This case here is why you can't say that someone has 3.07 because the have G92, (Most of the time it is true but there are some exceptions)

So is it possible to have G44 (3.07) without the G92?

My '94 6sp has RPO GM3 axle rear, 3.45 ratio!
A '94 with the "performance ratio axle" should be 3.07's. Oh, and all '94's with auto's had a Dana 36. Manuals had a Dana 44 with 3.45
