Default Fiberglass repair. Door edge

I'll apologize in advance if I am posting in the wrong section.

I had an unfortunate run in with a garage door today which left my corvette's door in less than mint condition.

I was wondering what would be my best option for repair? I am new to fiberglass.

When I bought mine it had a botched repair job in the same spot.. I took it to a couple local shops and picked one.. looks like it was never there! Cost me about $700 but seriously it looks awesome now. Seriously can't even tell it was there!

I had an identical mishap 4 months ago. PM me and I could talk to you about it. I had it repaired flawlessly. Cost 900 bucks just to prepare you but important to have it done right. No dealership on this.

The good news is that your car is Torch Red, which is a very easy color to paint and match.

I glassed these ducts in myself. (my first time doing body work )



It cost me 150 dollars to have both rockers painted, I've not tried my hand at painting ( yet )





my point here is the fix , itself is very easy, The color you have is an easy color to match. Good luck. my point here is also for you not to worry, it will disappear with a little money thrown at it.
