This will eventually be a long post, but for now here is a listing of the car related events, that I know of at this time, happening in Missouri for 2014. I will add events as they become known and will put the events in red as they are held. If anyone has events to add to the list, please PM or e-mail me with the details and I will modify this thread. As with any event, please contact the sponsoring organization or check indicated web sites to ensure the event dates/times are accurate before traveling.

February 1-2. Springfield, MO: 16th Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Autofest, held at the Eplex, Missouri Entertainment and Events Center. Indoor show, Saturday 10 am - 7 pm and Sunday 10 am - 5 pm. April 5. Columbia, MO: 20th Annual Corvette Cup hosted by the Mid-Missouri Corvette Club. Show to be held at the Quality Inn of Columbia, 1612 N. Providence Road (Exit 126), Columbia, MO (573-449-2491). Pre-Registration is $30 (register by March 26, 2014) and $40 after March 26, 2014. Pre-registration includes Saturday evening banquet for two and T-shirt. Activities will include an auction to benefit the Central Missouri Dream Factory. April 19. St. Louis, MO: St. Louis County Police Welfare Association Car Show and BBQ. Held at Mehlville High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road. Rain date of April 26th. Registration begins at 8 am and awards are at 4 pm. $20 entry fee. Dash plaques for first 75. Top 50 classes.
April 19. Springfield, MO: 4th Annual MSU Marketing Club Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show. Held at the Missouri State University parking lot on 901 S. National. 20 classes and 7 specialty awards. April 26. Springfield, MO: 23rd Annual OTC Antique, Classic Car, Truck and Rods Show. Held at Ozark Technical College Campus Industrial Training and Technology parking lot area. 1001 East Chestnut Expressway near National Street. Show hours are 9 am - 3 pm. Rain or shine. May 2-4. Lake Ozark, MO: 26th Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals. Held on the Bagnall Dam strip in Lake Ozark. This is a unique show for all makes, models and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The strip is closed to normal traffic during show hours. Space is limited. May 3. Fredericktown, MO: 52nd Annual Azalea Festival Car Show. Presented by the Foothills Car Club and held on the Court Square. May 3. Cassville, MO: 28th Annual Dogwoods in Bloom Car, Truck and Motorcycle Festival. Held at 504 Main Street on the square. An informal competition and display of over a hundred vehicles of various types. Open to the public. Registration 7:30 am - 9:30 am at the Chamber of Commerce office. May 3. Old Mines, MO: Old Mines 9th Annual Car, Truck and Bike Show. Proceeds go to Make a Wish Foundation of Missouri. Car show to be held at the Knights of Columbus on Hwy 21. The Knights of Columbus is located 15 miles south of Desoto on Hwy 21. There will be attendance prizes, trophies, 50/50, and more. Registration is $15 per vehicle. May 4. Shawnee Mission, KS: Kansas City Corvette Association and Hendrick Chevrolet Annual All Corvette Car Show. Located at Hendrick Chevrolet, 8300 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Merriam, KS. Show times are 9 am - 3:30 pm. Registration is 9 am to noon, awards at 2:30 pm. This is a judged show and shine plus specialty awards. Rain or shine event. May 9-10. Jefferson City, MO: 2nd Annual Capital City Corvette Classic, to be held around the state Capitol. Car show will be from 12 pm to 4 pm on May 10 and is a judged show - participant judging. After the show, there will be a cruise-in to downtown Jefferson City from 5 pm to 7 pm. There will be events on Friday, May 9 with details to follow. Rain date is May 16-17. May 10. Reeds Spring, MO: 7th Annual RSHS Car and Truck Show plus Swap Meet. Held at Reeds Spring High School, 20277 Hwy 413. Paved area for show cars, rods and trucks. Fund raiser/benefit for the Reeds Spring High School WOLF's PRIDE Band. 35 classes 1908 through 2014 plus a display class. Registration 8 am - noon with trophies (1st and 2nd place) at 3 pm. May 10. Hannibal, MO: Loafers 19th Annual Car Show. Show held on North Main Street, downtown Hannibal. Entry fee is $20, spectators are free. 31 judged classes (street rods, street machines, trucks, Corvettes, Mustangs, classics, Pro Street, Rat Rods, imports and many more. 3 trophies per class plus 8 special awards. May 31. Florissant, MO: Florissant Church Car Show and Community Event. Registration open from 8 am - 1 pm, judging is from 1 pm - 4 pm. This is a car and motorcycle show open to the community. Download a flier or register online at www.florissantchurch.org. Entry fee is three (3) cans of SPAM for the local food pantry. A free awards dinner begins at 4 pm and car owners must be present to win our famous homemade trophies. 1st and 2nd place trophies for 10 classes. Cars must be 30 years old or older. June 5-7. Nixa, MO: Bikes, Blues and Hot Cars Show. Open to all makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Held at the River Sports Complex in Nixa, MO. Poker run, judged show and more. June 7. Wellington, MO: 17th Annual Wellington Fair Car Show. Located at the intersection of Highway 131 and Highway 224. Please enter on Highway 131. Show times are 10 am - 2 pm. June 7. Bowling Green, MO: Route 66 Corvette Club Corvette Show. Held at Bowling Green Chevrolet-Buick, 805 E. Champ Drive. Registration is 8:30 am - noon, Awards at 2:30 pm. Participant judging with first, second and third place in each class. Pre-registration is $20; registration after June 1st is $25. June 7-8. Springfield, MO: Queen City Riot, held at 2660 South Scenic. One of the areas biggest and best old school "Custom" car, truck and bike show. St. Clair, MO: 24th Annual Route 66 and Elks Club Fathers Day Car Show in Orchard Park. 1295 Orchard Drive, I-44 at exit 240 to South Service Road. 29 classes open to American made stock or modified cars and trucks up to 1989. 3 awards per class, plus special awards. June 15. Point Lookout, MO: 6th Annual Fathers Day Car Show at the Keeter Center. Held on Opportunity Avenue. This is a fun, family car show at The College of the Ozarks. July 12. Licking, MO: Route 63 Car and Bike Show, held at the Old City Park in Licking. Vehicle entry fee is $20 and includes a T-shirt and dash plaque for the first 100 entrants. Vehicles to be judged as "Top 100." 34 first place, 33 second place and 33 third place plaques to be awarded. Specialty trophies include People's Choice, Mayors Choice. August 2. Hannibal, MO: Poage Chevrolet-Buick and Mark Twain Corvette Club 8th Annual All Corvette Car Show. Rain or shine event to be held on Main Street (Downtown). Entrance opens at 8 am with trophy presentation at 3 pm. Judging begins at 10 am. Class awards for 1st-3rd for convertibles in all generations, 1st-3rd for couples in generations C2-C7, and 1st-3rd awards for modified/tuner class in each generation. Special awards include Best of Show, Farthest Traveled, Club Participation, Mayor's Pick, Tom and Becky's Pick, Best Graphics, Best Anniversary, Best Pace Car, Best Grand Sport, Best Z06, Best ZR1. August 9. Springfield, MO: 4th Annual Birthplace of Route 66 Car Show. Open to classic cars, trucks, hot rods rat rods, motorcycles and more. Located at Park Central Square North (Boonville Ave). August 9. Troy, MO: Memories on Main Street, 10th Annual Car Show, held in Downtown Troy. Enter at College Street and Main Street only. Escorted parking only. Arriving with friends ensures parking with friends. All hoods, trunks and convertible tops must be up for judging. Registration is 8 am - noon, judging at noon and awards at 4 pm. Cost is $15 for judged class and $10 for display only. Two Corvette classes: 1953-1982 and 1984-2014. Three trophies per class along with Mayor's Choice, Best Chrome, Best Display, Best Paint, and Best of Show.
August 9. Ste. Genevieve, MO: 24th Annual Classic Cruiser's Car Show, located at the Old Hoffman Junkyard. Highway 61 to Market Street, left on 4th, right on Washington St. At end of street, turn right on Front Street and show location is on the right. Registration from 8 am to 11:30 am.
August 10. St. Louis, MO: 4th Annual Show Off Auto Show. All vehicle car show with judged show and 30 categories plus specialty awards. Dash plaques and goodie bags for first 100 participants. No other information available at this time.

August 23. Olathe, KS: Kansas City Corvette Association 3rd Annual Vettes on the Plains Show. Location is Bass Pro Shops, 12051 Bass Pro Drive, Olathe, KS. Rain or shine event. Registration from 8 am - 11 am, show from 8 am - 4 pm and judging begins at 11 am. Awards beginning at 3 pm. Every car entered receives an award. Other awards include Best in Class (1st and 2nd all generations), Best of Show, Bass Pro's Choice. Jack, this is actually held in downtown Hannibal on Main street. instead of Bowling Green. Folks, I've been going to this show 6 out of the 8 years it's been held and it's gotten bigger turnouts annually.
